Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a condition that often presents itself as a combination of symptoms that include:

  • Irregular periods

  • Infertility

  • Weight gain

  • Acne

  • Facial hair and/or hair loss

  • Depression, anxiety

  • Blood sugar imbalance

  • Type 2 or Pre-Diabetes

PCOS is closely linked to diet, lifestyle, stress and blood sugar balance and so taking an integrative approach to treatment is an extremely beneficial way to address the root causes to your symptoms. Here are a list of factors that we always consider when working with patients who have PCOS or suspected PCOS:

  • When did you notice your symptom begin?

  • Are you eating a nutritious and balanced diet?

  • Are you engaging in moderate movement activities and exercise? (Too intense of exercise can exacerbate symptoms!)

  • How is your sleep?

  • Do you incorporate stress relieving activities into your daily routine?

  • How is your digestion?

  • Are you having regular bowel movements?

  • Do you have any skin issues?

  • How are you hormones fluctuating throughout your cycle? (We'll order blood work to find out.)

  • Is there underlying inflammation within your body? (We'll order specific lab tests to see.)

  • What other health conditions or concerns do you have?

It is critical that all aspects of your lifestyle are considered so that you can address the root causes to your condition. We understand that every patient is unique and so we'll work with you to develop a personalized treatment protocol based on your specific needs. Our practitioners will help to guide you on a path towards optimal health and wellness! If you're interested in seeing how we can help, click below to schedule a Free Intro Call:
